The rainstorm has closed 179 roads, 150 of which are in Andalusia.

Madrid (EFE).- The rain has caused the closure of 179 roads due to flooding and landslides, with 150 closures in Andalusia, according to the DGT at 8:00 PM this Saturday. Cádiz is the most affected province, with the A-48 closed in Vejer de la Frontera towards Tarifa. In Jaén, the A-44 is closed in Campillo de Arenas towards Granada. There are 39 more roads affected by snow, including one in Zamora on the A-52 which blocks passage for lorries. The DGT advises caution due to alerts for rain and snow, especially in Extremadura and Andalusia, and suggests avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from areas prone to flooding. In Castilla y León and the Community of Madrid, it is necessary to carry chains or winter tyres if planning to travel through those regions.
