Netanyahu will discuss the negotiations regarding Iran with Trump at their meeting in Washington on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, will meet next Wednesday in Washington with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to discuss the state of negotiations with Iran. Netanyahu believes that any dialogue should include the limitation of ballistic missiles and the cessation of support for the Iranian axis. Netanyahu’s statements come after the resumption of negotiations between the United States and the Iranian regime in Oman regarding its nuclear programme, against a backdrop of Trump’s threats to carry out a military intervention in Iran. This week, the Israeli president requested that the White House’s special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, ensure that any agreement with Iran must involve the termination of its nuclear programme, as well as the restriction of its ballistic missiles and its support for regional groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis in Yemen.
