Storm Marta: eleven regions on alert for rain, snow, wind, and waves

Currently, eleven autonomous communities and the autonomous city of Ceuta are on alert for rain, winds, snowfall, and maritime conditions. Andalusia is the most affected region, with an orange alert level due to accumulated rainfall exceeding 80 litres per square metre over a 12-hour period in localities such as Grazalema, Ronda, Aracena, and the northern Sierra of Seville. According to projections from the State Meteorological Agency, the rain will continue at an orange level across all provinces of Andalusia. This risk of precipitation and landslides has led to the evacuation of approximately 11,000 people.
