Tokyo (EFE).- The ruling coalition in Japan, led by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, has obtained two-thirds of the seats in the Lower House of Parliament in the early elections held this Sunday, according to estimates from the NHK network. At 11:00 local time on Sunday, NHK reported that Takaichi’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and its ally, the Japan Innovation Party (Ishin), were set to secure at least 310 of the 465 available seats in the Lower House.
