ELECTIONS ARAGÓN | The turnout is at 41.02% until 14:00 hours.

Zaragoza (EFE).- As of 14:00 hours, the voter turnout in the Aragón elections stands at 41.02%. The participation rate at 11:15 hours was 10.81%. Regarding the provinces, 10.91% of voters from Zaragoza, 10.41% from Huesca, and 10.74% from Teruel have cast their votes. During a press conference, the government spokesperson announced that 21,467 people have voted by mail, representing a decrease of 37.2% compared to 2023. Of the total figure, 13,735 correspond to Zaragoza, 4,912 to Huesca, and 2,820 to Teruel. This Sunday, 991,892 residents of the community are called to vote, which includes those registered living outside Spain, known as CERA voting, totalling 44,433 individuals across 130 countries. By 09:30, all polling stations had been established, and the day is proceeding normally, according to the spokesperson for the Government of Aragón. The people of Aragón head to the polls two and a half years after the elections of May 2023, which were brought forward by the president and candidate of the Popular Party, Jorge Azcón, after failing to reach a budgetary agreement with Vox. The main candidates from the various parties are Jorge Azcón (PP), Pilar Alegría (PSOE), Alejandro Nolasco (Vox), Jorge Pueyo (CHA), Tomás Guitarte (Aragón-Teruel Existe), María Goikoetxea (Podemos), Marta Abengochea (IU-Movimiento Sumar), and Alberto Izquierdo (PAR).
