The government of Salvador Illa has reached an agreement with the Comuns group regarding the Generalitat’s budget project for 2026, which requires the support of ERC to be approved in the Parliament. Illa and Albiach will sign the agreement at the Palau de la Generalitat after a private meeting. Comuns has focused its demands on housing and railway transport, and has approved the budget after beginning formal negotiations two weeks ago. ERC has yet to agree to discuss the budgets with the government.
