Iran says that cooperation on oil with the USA would be possible if a nuclear agreement is signed.

Tehran.- The Iranian Minister of Petroleum, Mohsen Paknejad, stated this Friday that there could be an opportunity for Iran and the United States to collaborate in the oil and gas industry of the Persian country, as long as a nuclear agreement is reached between both nations. «Everything is feasible,» Paknejad responded when journalists asked him if there was any possibility of collaboration in the energy sector between Iran and the United States. The minister clarified that «he is not sure whether such cooperation in oil and gas can take place at this time,» as both countries continue to negotiate. Hamid Ganbari, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and part of the negotiation team, mentioned the possibility of economic collaboration between Iran and the United States, highlighting the oil and mining sectors as areas of interest for the Americans.
