Kabul. Multiple airstrikes have hit eastern Afghanistan, causing destruction of homes and a religious school, according to the Taliban. They claim that people are trapped beneath the rubble and blame Pakistan for the bombings. A spokesperson for the Taliban government confirmed that «Pakistani forces carried out attacks against civilian houses and a religious school in the provinces of Paktika and Nangarhar. The victims are civilians, including women and children.» The representative of the Nangarhar police, Sayed Tayyab Hamad, explained that the most destructive attack took place in the Behsood district, where a missile struck a family home housing 23 people. So far, only four people have been rescued. Hamad stated that there has been no confirmation of additional survivors trapped under the rubble, and that most are women and children.
