Islamabad. This Friday, the Taliban government announced that it has carried out airstrikes targeting command centres and military bases in Pakistan, in response to the bombings by Islamabad in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. According to a report from the Afghan Ministry of Defence, the attacks have struck facilities in three cities in Pakistan: Abbottabad, Nowshera, and Jamrud, as well as near Faisalabad, in the Islamabad area.
