Jerusalem/Tehran. This Saturday, Israel and the United States conducted an attack against Iran, according to an Israeli security source. The Israeli Ministry of Defence communicated the attack, stating that Israel had carried out an «attack against Iran» with the aim of «eliminating threats» to its nation. Anti-missile alarms have been activated in Israel. The Ministry of Defence has warned that «a missile and drone attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is anticipated in the near future.» In the same document, Minister Israel Katz declared a state of emergency that will last for 48 hours. At the same time the attack was announced, all mobile phones in Israel issued an «emergency alert» urging the population to seek nearby shelters and to avoid travel. This is the same alert that was activated when the Israeli government carried out an attack against Iran in June 2025.
