The Israeli Defence Ministry has stated that the country has carried out an attack against Iran with the aim of eliminating threats to its nation. Missile alarms have been activated in Israel. The Defence Ministry has reported that a missile and drone attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is anticipated. In the same statement, Minister Israel Katz declared a state of emergency that will last for 48 hours. All mobile phones in Israel emitted an emergency alert urging the population to seek nearby shelters and to avoid movement. This is the same alert that was activated when the Israeli government carried out an attack against Iran in June 2025.
