Trump says that the new leaders of Iran want to negotiate and that he is willing to do so.

Washington. This Sunday, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, declared that he is open to negotiations with the new leadership of Iran, following the death of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in an attack by Israel and the United States. «They want to talk, and I have agreed to do so, so I will be in communication with them,» he stated in a telephone interview with The Atlantic magazine. The Republican, who announced the attack on Saturday after deeming the nuclear negotiations with Tehran unsuccessful, maintained that Iran has delayed in seeking an agreement: «They should have done it sooner.» «They should have done what was easy to accomplish earlier. They delayed,» he remarked. Trump did not specify when the new negotiations would commence and highlighted that some of the leaders he had dealt with have since died.
