Athens.- This Monday, the Greek government announced that it will send two frigates and two F-16 fighter jets to Cyprus to support the island’s defence, following the impact of an Iranian drone at the British base in Akrotiri. Greek Defence Minister, Nikos Dendias, stated that Greece is committed to supporting Cyprus’s defence during the crisis, with the aim of confronting threats and illegal actions on its territory.
