On Monday, at least 31 people were killed and 149 were injured due to Israeli airstrikes in the outskirts of Beirut and southern Lebanon, as a reaction to an attack by the group Hizbullah in the conflict with Iran. The Israeli Army announced that it had begun airstrikes targeting Hizbullah positions in Lebanon, after ordering the evacuation of towns in the southern part of the country and carrying out attacks in Beirut, in response to an offensive by the Shia group against northern Israel. According to an announcement from the Israeli Army’s Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, Israeli forces have started bombing Hizbullah targets in Lebanon, including weapons depots and the group’s facilities in various areas of the country.
Hezbollah joins the conflict with an attack on Israel, which bombards Lebanon, resulting in over 30 dead.
