The Chief of the Pentagon says they have succeeded in changing the regime in Iran.

Washington. Today, Pete Hegseth, the United States Secretary of War, stated that the attacks aimed at Iran «do not constitute a war to overthrow the regime, but the regime has changed and the world is a better place for it.» Hegseth pointed out that Operation ‘Epic Fury’, which began on Saturday and resulted in the death of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is the «most lethal, most complicated, and most precise of all time.» The secretary claimed that the attacks are being carried out «with precision and force» and that as the conflict progresses, the capabilities of the U.S. are being strengthened and those of Iran are being weakened. «We define the terms of this conflict from start to finish. Our aspirations are not unrealistic.» Hegseth warned that Trump and his team «did everything possible» to find a diplomatic solution, but that Tehran was stalling the process to «buy time and replenish its missile arsenals.» «This is not Iraq. This is not something without end. This is completely different.»
