An A330 aircraft of the Air and Space Army has departed from the Torrejón Air Base with the aim of evacuating Spanish citizens who are trapped in the Middle East due to the conflict in Iran and wish to return to Spain. The Armed Forces are joining the Government’s initiative to repatriate Spanish citizens in the region following the onset of the conflict with Iran, as communicated by the Ministry of Defence. The units of the Air and Space Army involved in the operation are Wing 45 and the Air Deployment Support Squadron.
