María Guardiola faces the second vote for her investiture with the «no» from Vox, according to the PP.

María Guardiola, who is serving as acting president of Extremadura, is preparing for her second attempt to be appointed as the leader of the regional Government, despite the rejection from Vox, according to sources from the PP. The uncertainty over whether Guardiola will receive the backing or neutrality of Vox weakens after revelations from PP sources indicating that Vox has already informed them that they will not support the investiture of the PP candidate. Although Vox communicated this in the morning and, according to PP sources, did not offer any other alternative, this rejection became known late on Thursday. The range of the simple majority needed for the investiture varies between the support of Vox, which would be excluded from the equation, and the option to abstain. However, their leader in Extremadura, Óscar Fernández Calle, has been insisting that his party will only vote for or against.
