Madrid.- The feminist protests of 8 March have been recognised as a ‘Place of Democratic Memory’ due to their importance in promoting equality and because these mobilisations have transformed into democratic waves, serving as a model for future generations, according to information from the Official State Bulletin. The BOE has announced the resolution from the Secretary of State for Democratic Memory, which establishes that these demonstrations should be recognised as a Place of Democratic Memory in the category of intangible cultural heritage.
