The Israeli Army began bombing in Dahie, neighbourhoods in southern Beirut, according to a statement. «The Israel Defence Forces are carrying out attacks against Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the Dahie area in Beirut,» stated the military communiqué. These attacks occurred after the Arabic spokesperson for the Israeli Army, Avichay Adraee, issued an evacuation order. «Urgent notice for the residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut, particularly for those who have not yet left the area. Protect yourselves and leave your homes immediately,» warned the Army, organising the evacuation of residents from Dahie, a stronghold of the Hezbollah group. The relocation directive focuses on four areas with a population in the centre of the suburbs: the Palestinian refugee camp of Bourj el Barajne and Hadaz, located further south; as well as Haret Hreik and Chiyah, which are situated above these.
