Madrid. This Monday, the cost of Brent crude oil increased by more than 17% to reach 109 dollars per barrel, due to concerns over supply following the rise in violence in the Middle East. At 7:30 a.m. this Monday, the price of Brent oil stands at 109.62 dollars, following a 17.53% increase, according to information from Bloomberg. Shortly after 3:00 a.m., the price of Brent rose by more than 28%, reaching 119.50 dollars. Last Friday, Brent for May delivery had already closed with an increase of more than 8%, near 93 dollars.
