The Prosecutor’s Office says that «at this moment» there is not enough evidence to charge Mazón.

The Superior Prosecutor’s Office of the Valencian Community has determined that there is no data or evidence to justify the accusation against former president Carlos Mazón in connection with the Dana case. The Prosecutor’s Office has requested the Higher Court of Justice of the Valencian Community to return the case to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 3 of Catarroja so that the investigation can continue. This request is based on a report that responds to the exposition presented by the judge of Catarroja, Nuria Ruiz Tobarra, who believes there are indications of criminal responsibility on Mazón’s part in the management of the Dana.
