Madrid (EFE) This Tuesday, Brent crude oil fell by eight per cent, reaching 91 dollars at 11:30 GMT in the London futures market, following statements from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the conflict with Iran. A barrel of North Sea oil reached 88.26 dollars in electronic trading in the early morning for delivery in May, representing a decline of nearly eleven per cent compared to the previous day’s close. After hitting 94 dollars at certain points during the session, Brent crude dropped to 89.29 dollars at 9:45 GMT and then fluctuated between 90 and 92 dollars, indicating market volatility. Today, European oil shows a downward trend after experiencing its largest intraday increase on Monday, with a rise of 29% that took it to 119.50 dollars, its highest level since the war in Ukraine began in February 2022.
