Iran denies that the missiles intercepted in Turkey were launched by its Armed Forces.

The Iranian official, Masud Pezeshkian, has rejected in a dialogue with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the claim that the two intercepted ballistic missiles originated from Iran. The Turkish government has confirmed that Erdogan spoke with Pezeshkian to reiterate that Turkey is not involved in the conflicts and that any violation of its airspace cannot be justified.
