In 2025, transactions involving the buying and selling of homes increased by 5%, reaching a total of 752,098 operations, the highest figure since 2007, according to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda. Home transactions have experienced two years of growth, surpassing 70,000 units, following a nearly 11% decline in 2023 due to rising interest rates and the increased cost of credit. In the area of free housing, transactions of second-hand properties saw an increase in 2025, with a rise of 5.3% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 667,959.
