Projectiles strike three ships near the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran announces the impact on two more.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency has reported that three vessels have been struck by projectiles near the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian military stated that it has hit two ships with missiles, one belonging to Israel that was sailing under the Liberian flag, and another which is a container ship. This occurred after the vessels ignored warnings from its naval force in the Strait of Hormuz. The UKMTO reported that the captain of a container ship reported that his vessel had been damaged by an unidentified projectile 25 nautical miles northwest of Ras Al Khaimah, on the coast of the United Arab Emirates. Hours later, the agency communicated that a cargo ship was struck by an unidentified projectile 11 nautical miles north of Oman, in the Strait of Hormuz, causing a fire on board. A captain from a different ship reported a third impact caused by an unidentified projectile, located approximately 50 nautical miles northwest of Dubai, near Hormuz, according to UKMTO.
