Jerusalem, (EFE).- This Thursday, the Israeli Army reported a new series of bombings in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, following a warning issued for an area in the city centre. «The IDF has begun a series of attacks on Hizbollah infrastructure in Beirut,» stated a communiqué. Approximately one hour before the announcement of this new wave of attacks, the Israeli Army ordered the evacuation of an area in central Beirut. This was the first warning issued regarding the heart of the Lebanese capital since their offensives against Hizbollah in Lebanon began. In a statement, the Israeli Army’s Arabic-speaking representative, Avichay Adraee, identified a building near Saint Joseph University, located in the Bashura neighbourhood, as the target of an attack, and advised residents to keep a distance of 300 metres.
