The United States confirms the death of the six crew members of the plane that crashed in Iraq.

This Friday, the United States confirmed that six soldiers on board the KC-135 tanker aircraft that crashed in western Iraq have died. The United States Central Command indicated that the incident is under investigation, although it stressed that the loss of the aircraft was not caused by enemy fire or friendly fire. It has been confirmed that all six crew members of the KC-135 have died. With the death of these soldiers, the total number of American military personnel who have lost their lives since the onset of the conflict with Iran on February 28 has risen to 14. An Iran-backed militia claimed responsibility for the aircraft’s crash, asserting that they attacked the plane. Iran has also stated that a missile struck the tanker aircraft. This is the second incident affecting the United States armed forces since the beginning of the conflict.
