The First Instance Court of Villafranca de los Barros has ordered provisional imprisonment, communicated and without the possibility of bail, for the two brothers arrested in Hornachos in relation to the death of their neighbour Francisca Cadenas, who disappeared in 2017. The investigations are being conducted for the crimes of homicide and violation of liberty, as communicated by the Superior Court of Justice of Extremadura. The two individuals have answered questions from their defenders, and their statement lasted an hour. Furthermore, the judge has decided to lift the confidentiality of the proceedings before starting the statements. This Saturday, the two brothers were made available to the judge after being arrested the previous Wednesday, when the Civil Guard discovered skeletal remains under the patio of their home, which were identified as belonging to Francisca Cadenas.
