This Saturday, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, condemned an attack by Russia in the Kyiv region and in the cities of Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv, where authorities reported seven fatalities, four in the capital. Zelensky commented on his Telegram account that «the repercussions of the attack are being managed,» referring to a bombardment that targeted «the energy sector of the Kyiv region,» although it also caused «damage to homes, schools, and civilian businesses.» Additionally, he expressed «my condolences to all the families and friends.» He mentioned that there are injuries and people in need of medical attention, referring to the four victims in the Kyiv area. Oleg Sinegubov, the leader of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, reported that one person lost their life due to the Russian attack in the region he oversees. In the Kharkiv area, another eleven people, including two minors, were injured. In the Kherson region, local authorities expressed their sorrow over the loss of another life in the attack, which left a total of seven injured. Alexander Prokudin, the Governor of Kherson, mentioned that «the occupiers caused damage to an administrative building, a catering service, a mobile phone tower, a support structure, an ambulance, and private vehicles.» The leader of the military administration in the Zaporizhia region, Ivan Fedorov, reported that in that area of eastern Ukraine, one person died and another was injured due to recent «enemy attacks.»
