At least four dead and fifteen injured in Kyiv due to a Russian night attack.

Berlin (EFE) – In Kiev, four people have lost their lives and fifteen have been injured as a result of an attack by Russia against Ukraine, in which Russian forces used 430 drones and 68 missiles during the night from Friday to Saturday. Mikola Kalashnik, head of the military administration of Kiev, reported that three of the injured are in critical condition and two others are undergoing surgery. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that, during the night attack, the country’s air defenses managed to intercept 58 missiles and 402 drones. Impacts from six missiles and 38 drones were reported in eleven locations across the country, as well as damage caused by the debris of downed drones in another seven sites. Kalashnik indicated that the attacks targeted residential areas of the region, including apartment buildings, educational centres, shops, and infrastructure. According to Kalashnik, around thirty buildings have been affected by the Russian bombardments. The districts of Visgorod, Brovari, Obuhiv, and Bucha, located in the Kiev region, were hit by this attack. Kalashnik stated that rescue teams, medical personnel, police, and municipal services are operating in all affected areas and that assistance centres are being established. He also called on residents of the region not to disregard air alerts.
