Elections in Castilla y León: Voter turnout reaches 37% by 14:00 hours, 2.24 points higher.

The turnout for the elections in Castilla y León has reached 36.97 per cent by two o’clock in the afternoon, representing an increase of 2.24 points compared to the elections four years ago, according to information provided by the regional government. Participation has grown in all provinces, with Palencia experiencing the largest increase, up by 3.27 points compared to 2022, raising its voter percentage from the census to 38 per cent. In Soria, 39.2 per cent of voters have cast their ballot, which represents an increase of 3.15 points compared to four years ago. In Zamora, participation has grown by 3.13 points, reaching 35.37 per cent of electors. The increase has been more modest in Ávila, where it rose by 1.38 points to reach 36.13 per cent; in Valladolid, with an increase of 1.63 points to 38.84 per cent; and in Salamanca, which shows an increase of 1.65 points, with 36.49 per cent of voters counted. In the intermediate category of increased participation are Segovia, which saw an increase of 2.11 points to 37.85 per cent; Burgos, with an increase of 2.30 points also reaching 37.85 per cent; and León, which rose by 2.64 points to 34.64 per cent. According to these data, Soria is the province with the highest percentage of citizens who have voted, followed by Valladolid, while León has the lowest percentage.
