Santiago Abascal, the leader of Vox, has announced that his party will participate in the regional governments of Extremadura, Aragón and Castilla y León, provided that agreements are reached with the PP in these communities. Abascal reaffirmed his intention to restore coalition governments in these regions during a press conference, after the party’s Political Action Committee evaluated the results in Castilla y León, where Vox secured 14 seats. «We are going to govern in all three areas,» he stated, adding that they do not wish for elections to be repeated and emphasising the importance of negotiating each measure and finalising the agreements for governance.
Abascal confirms that Vox will enter regional governments if there are programme agreements with the PP.
