The Israeli army reported on raid operations targeting positions of the Hizbullah group in southern Lebanon. The forces of the 91st Division of the Israel Defence Forces have begun ground operations against Hizbullah positions in southern Lebanon, with the aim of strengthening defence, according to a military statement. The army noted that the actions include the dismantling of facilities classified as «terrorist» and the elimination of fighters in the region, with the goal of eradicating threats and providing security for the residents of northern Israel.
Israel is carrying out «limited and selective» raids against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
