Rafael Ramón Mompó, councillor for Legal Services, Procurement and Heritage of the town hall of Altea and a member of Compromís, was arrested on Sunday night for assaulting his partner, causing injuries, according to sources close to the case reported to EFE. The Civil Guard arrested the councillor around 9 p.m. on Sunday at a house in Xàbia, where the couple owns a property and where the incidents occurred.
