The PP urges Vox, which is resisting giving deadlines to reach agreements in Aragón and Extremadura.

Madrid. After the elections in Castilla y León, the PP and Vox are in discussions to establish a government in Extremadura and Aragón. According to the Popular Party, these negotiations are advanced, especially in Extremadura, although Vox prefers not to set deadlines. In a conversation on esRadio, the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, emphasised the need to reach agreements with Vox in these communities before March, urging Santiago Abascal’s party to restart negotiations to unblock the regional governments. «We cannot reach May without having found a solution and we should not start April without having reached an agreement in Extremadura, in Aragón, and finalising the Speaker’s Table of Castilla y León,» said the leader of the Popular Party. In a press conference at Congress, Vox’s representative in the Lower House, Pepa Millán, stated that the fundamental issue is to reach agreements for regional governments that establish the foundations for four years of governance, adding that «beyond discussing dates and seats, which seems to be the main concern of the Popular Party».
