The General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates has announced the total and temporary closure of its airspace due to drone and missile attacks originating from Iran. This action is a precautionary measure aimed at ensuring flight safety and protecting the territory of the UAE. The decision was made following an analysis of operational and security risks, in collaboration with national and international authorities. The Ministry of Defence of the UAE stated that air defences are responding to missile and drone threats that are coming from Iran.
