The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced that part of the one billion euros that Spain will allocate this year for military assistance to Ukraine will be used to increase production in the defence sector. Sánchez highlighted the cooperation during the press conference with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, following their meeting at the Palacio de la Moncloa, where agreements were signed to strengthen collaboration. The President of the Government indicated that this year Spain will provide one billion euros to Ukraine, an amount included in the cooperation agreement signed by both countries during Zelensky’s previous visit to Madrid.
Spain and Ukraine will increase joint production in defence matters.
