The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced that a portion of the one billion euros that Spain will allocate this year for military assistance to Ukraine will be used to increase production in the defence sector. Sánchez highlighted cooperation during the press conference with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, following their meeting at the Palace of Moncloa, where agreements were signed to strengthen collaboration. Sánchez indicated that Spain will allocate one billion euros to Ukraine, an amount agreed upon in the cooperation agreement signed by both countries during Zelensky’s previous visit to Madrid. Moreover, he emphasised that these funds will be used to facilitate the coproduction of military equipment.
Sánchez advances more joint production between Spain and Ukraine in the field of defence.
