Montero announces that the train accident in Adamuz will be considered a work-related accident.

The Minister of Finance and First Vice-President, María Jesús Montero, announced that a legal modification will be made so that the railway accident in Adamuz is considered an occupational accident, which will result in greater benefits. In an interview on the programme Los Desayunos de RTVE and EFE, Montero indicated that this measure will involve benefits for the injured and pensions for permanent disability, widowhood, and orphanhood. She stated that the same action was implemented following the Dana in Valencia, and aid for self-employed individuals and companies affected by the floods in Andalusia and Extremadura will begin to be disbursed.
