The Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister, María Jesús Montero, announced that Spain has achieved the aim of keeping the public deficit below 2.5% of GDP for the year 2025. In a conversation on the programme ‘Los Desayunos’ of RTVE and EFE, Montero emphasised that Spain has fulfilled its obligations to the European Commission without making cuts.
