This Sunday, over 1,500 localities in France are participating in the second round of municipal elections, which will be assessed a year before the presidential elections. A total of 17 million of the 48 million French citizens eligible to vote are called to the polls from 8:00 am local time, following the establishment of mayorships in more than 90% of the 35,000 municipalities in the first round held a week ago.
