A military plane crashes in Colombia, leaving an undetermined number of dead and 83 injured.

A Hercules C-130 aircraft from the Colombian Air Force crashed on Monday after taking off with 125 people on board from Puerto Leguízamo. The accident resulted in the deaths of eight military personnel and left 83 injured, while the whereabouts of the other 34 occupants remain uncertain. The President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, indicated that 83 military personnel are alive. The governor of Putumayo, Jhon Gabriel Molina, reported 83 injured, 14 in critical condition, and eight deaths. The commander of the FAC, General Carlos Silva, mentioned that 48 injured individuals have been rescued.
