Mérida.- Abel Bautista, Secretary General of the PP in Extremadura, stated that discussions between his party and Vox have progressed. However, he denied that a preliminary agreement has been reached, something that has been confirmed by Vox. Óscar Fernández Calle, representative of Vox in the Assembly of Extremadura, declared that no agreement has existed, although they are pleased with today’s meeting in Mérida and are optimistic about the possibility of reaching an understanding. Bautista advocated for the idea of not establishing a government immediately, as the important thing is to reach an agreement that encompasses the next four years of the legislature, supported by budgets, to prevent instability. The leader of the PP revealed that they have discussed tax reductions, housing issues, the Almaraz nuclear plant, and the irrigation project in Tierra de Barros.
