Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the Popular Party, has criticised the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and stated that the PP’s stance regarding the conflict in Iran is one of rejection towards the president. Santiago Abascal, president of Vox, has declared that the leader of the Government feels pleased with situations of crisis. During his response to Sánchez in Congress, Feijóo asserted that a pacifist feels the same pain for a murder in Tehran as in Caracas, and that he is concerned about human rights in the Middle East and in Latin America. He challenged him: «You are a cardboard pacifist.»
Feijóo accuses Sánchez of being «a fake pacifist» and Abascal of longing for catastrophes.
