The OECD lowers its forecasts due to the war mainly in Europe, but not in the US.

The OECD has adjusted its economic projections for this year compared to those it presented in December, particularly in Europe and certain Asian countries. It has raised its expectations for the United States, as the momentum in the technology and energy sectors will counteract the impacts of the war in the Middle East. In its interim outlook report released this Thursday, the OECD has decided to maintain its global economic growth projections at 2.9% for this year, and has made an adjustment to its estimates for 2027, setting them at 3%.
