In 2025, Spain’s economy grew by 2.8% due to an increase in household consumption and business investment. In the last quarter, growth was 0.8%, two-tenths higher than the previous quarter. According to the National Institute of Statistics, domestic demand contributed 3.6 points to the growth of 2025, while external demand decreased by 0.7 points due to a lack of dynamism in exports. The Gross Domestic Product reached €1,687,152 million, an increase of 5.8% compared to 2024.
