The courts have decided not to suspend Noelia’s euthanasia, rejecting the precautionary measures presented by the Abogados Cristianos foundation. This organisation has defended Noelia’s father in his legal battle to prevent her assisted death. They have requested precautionary measures for the third time before the examining court number 20 in Barcelona, which is investigating the complaint against two members of the Generalitat commission that approved the young woman’s dignified death, who suffers from paraplegia. Abogados Cristianos is requesting that Noelia’s euthanasia, scheduled for 6:00 PM this evening, be suspended and that she be provided with psychological and psychiatric treatment until a ruling is issued regarding the complaint of malfeasance that is being investigated by the court.
The courts once again dismiss the halt to Noelia’s euthanasia, hours before it is to be carried out.
