The situation on the roads has normalised following the delays caused by the departure operation.

Madrid (EFE) This Saturday afternoon, the state road network has returned to normal on the second day of the first getaway for the Easter holidays, with the exception of two accidents on the A-3 that are complicating traffic in Cuenca and Valencia, according to the Directorate General of Traffic. After the difficulties encountered on Saturday morning due to some congestion at the exits of Madrid, particularly on the A-1, A-3, A-5, and A-6 motorways, traffic has been restored on nearly all roads in Spain. This Saturday afternoon, traffic is affected by two accidents on the A-3: one in the province of Cuenca, near Iniesta, heading towards Madrid, and another at the access to Valencia, passing through Requena, which is blocking the right lane. Additionally, there are difficulties in Vizcaya, at the exit of Bilbao near Leioa, and traffic is increasing in Gran Canaria on the GC-1 as it passes through Telde, heading towards Maspalomas. The first phase of the Easter holiday began on Friday at three in the afternoon and will last until midnight on Sunday, 29 March. During this period, Traffic estimates there will be 4.3 million trips.
