Sana.- This Saturday, the Houthi rebels in Yemen announced that they have fired ballistic missiles towards southern Israel, describing this action as a military intervention in support of Tehran and its allies in the Middle East region. In a statement, Yahya Sarea, the spokesperson for the military wing of the Houthis, declared that the attacks targeted «military objectives» in southern Israel and were carried out in coordination with operations by Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The group defended the attacks, arguing that they were a reaction to the aggression by the United States and Israel towards Iran, as well as what they considered an increase in violence against allied factions in Lebanon, Iraq, and the Palestinian territories.
