A man who was at a campsite in Castell-Platja d’Aro, Girona, was struck by a tree branch and has sustained injuries and trauma. Additionally, there is a woman who suffered trauma in Blanes after being hit in the public street by an object blown down by the wind. Another woman was hit by an object in the street in Calonge, her condition is mild. In La Jonquera, the SEM attended to another two people who sustained injuries in the street. This episode of wind has caused intense gusts, according to data recorded by the Meteocat service. In the sanctuary of Queralt, in Barcelona, and in Portbou, Girona, speeds of up to 168.5 kilometres per hour have been measured.
